Since the client is a non traditional download, can a tech savvy GM do a step by step for those of us slightly "retarded" in the comp area? Its probably not needed but im sure it will be appreciated Very Happy

Also will this client ever be merged to a single file, available through a common site such as Megadownload.com or something of the sort. Would make things alot easier.

It's pretty simple

1. Go download the file.
2. Save it to your desktop.
3. Extract the file. I suggest using 7-zip.

Notice how I have it saving to desktop.

4. Click OK.

5. Now you should have a folder with the updater, game, and a notepad file.

6. Copy or Cut all those files out of that folder.

7. Find your folder with the current game in it, and paste all the files there. Should get a screen like this.

Select replace all.

8. Now you can run the updater with the latest patches and stuff.


Also since they GM's are doing updates this way I doubt it would be all 1 file. It would be simpler if they could update the server through the actual update file but this works too.
