1. Right click on a empty area of desktop.
2. Click on New and Shortcut.
3. Type rundll32.exe user32.dll, LockWorkStation into the location area. (See screenshot below step 4)
4. Click on the Next button.
5. Type Lock Computer for the name. (See screenshot below step 6)
NOTE: You can name it anything you would like.
6. Click on the Finish button.
7. Right click on the new Lock Computer shortcut (on desktop) and click on Properties.
8. Click on the Change Icon button. (See screenshot below)

9. Click on the Browse button. (See screenshot below step 12)
NOTE: If you have your own icon you would rather use, then just navigate to where you have it saved. Vista needs a 256 bit icon for the best viewing results.
10. Scroll down and click on the file imageres.dll and click Open button. (See screenshot below)
11. Click on the icon highlighted in blue below. (See screenshot below)
12. Click on OK.
13. Click on OK to apply.
14. Move or copy the new Lock Computer shortcut to wherever you like for easy use.
