Events: Thoughts

Dwater Community:

We are going to be looking into events in the near future and we would like some input on some things and potential rewards for these events that would be appealing to you. I hope to get some realistic ideas here that would make our gamming community even greater.

Please share and I look forward to bringing event to our community in the near future.

In my past experience as a Evo GS, I have picked up many event ideas.
Hide and Seek
Racing
Trivia
Song Lyrics
Hangman
Hold The Bridge(dino)
FB drops
DWD drops
Scavenger Hunt
Farming Contests, and many more.
As I think of more, I will add them here. Hope you all can use my ideas to make the community more enjoyable.

the only fun ones on evo would have been Trivia... but something from U.S. like Relic Holding (who can hold the most relics for an hour wins) that was fun because it was sometimes rather challenging

Im just throwin out ideas. I cant think up of everything out there now lol

i like the sound of the relic holding event

in my experience the best events have had needed GM's input like monster madness, boss spawns in pvp maps, relic tag/ hold the alter (lets face it its a lot easier for a gm to hit reset alter then get 2 raids of peeps to play fair lol) good GA events are pretty much all wat u listed a few pvp based events are pretty good as well like iv done a seek and destroy b4 a gs from each server hides and its thats factions job to find the other gs while protecting thier own. A beefd up HnS is good for giving away the bigger dwd prizs on evo we did a relay HnS a few times find the first gs get somthing from him to giv to the next and so on get ur prizes from the last 1. peeps seemd to quite enjoy that 1.

Wyvern, your thoughts have already been noted by the GM"s and will be run at certain points, and Thanks for bringing them up. The events we are looking more at are the ones that a GA can run with out much assistance from the GM's since they are busy with many other things in the game. Don't get me wrong, a event to take and hold the bridge in the jungle would be fun with 25 croc bosses spawned on it at the exact same time followed up with some troll bosses. Icing on the cake would be then final boss spawn on the bride, a freezing mirage or something along those lines, imagine the carnage and dispair, I'm looking forward to this one already.

well if im present, it will not be a freezing mirage that is spawned, i would probly go with something alot nore dangerous, im thinking............ kamakazie mice
